Board Game Queen
Some of our best memories are simply sitting around a table together—playing, competing, laughing and enjoying being a family. Those ordinary moments are now some of the ones we treasure most.

In memory of Mary Ellen Crase
Mary filled family life with strong opinions, big adventures and a lot of laughter. We’re honoring the life she lived while helping make sure the care and stability she gave Kyra can continue.
Official donations will be made through the family’s GoFundMe.
Mary Ellen Crase was deeply loved by her family and known by many others through My Autistic Family and Mary’s Crazy Life, where she shared pieces of family life, adventures, challenges and a whole lot of fun.
She was a mother, daughter, sister and friend. She had personality. The kind that made ordinary afternoons around a table become the stories a family keeps telling.

Saying Mary loved Lagoon might be an understatement. She was obsessed, and she happily passed that love on to her children. Those trips became a meaningful part of the family’s story.
Mary wasn’t afraid to stand up for something that mattered to her. Most recently, that included her fight against Flock cameras. If you knew Mary, you probably aren’t surprised. When Mary believed in something, you generally knew about it.

A family moment with Mary
Mary’s sudden passing has left our family grieving while also facing an enormous practical question: how do we make sure Kyra continues to have the stability, care and support she needs without her mom?
Kyra is 26, and Mary played an important role in providing the structure and support she needs in everyday life. Mary’s absence means losing a central part of the support system that helped give Kyra consistency and stability.
We are establishing this fund primarily to help make sure that support continues—now and over the road ahead.
Stable living arrangements, everyday necessities and the consistency that helps daily life feel secure.
Transportation, appropriate care and support services, counseling when helpful, and structured assistance with daily life.
Preserving as much as reasonably possible for Kyra’s longer-term stability and needs.
The purpose of this fundraiser is clear: to help provide stability, care and continued support for Kyra following the loss of her mother.
Our family is taking steps to ensure that funds intended for Kyra are kept separate, carefully accounted for and responsibly protected while appropriate long-term arrangements are established.
There are complicated family and legal matters still being resolved. We don’t want to make promises about a particular financial or legal structure before it is actually in place. We will share family-approved updates as those arrangements become clear.
Fundraiser proceeds are new voluntary donations for Kyra’s stated support needs. They are not presented as Mary’s probate assets, inheritance, trust assets or money to be divided among heirs.
Selected, family-approved memories will be added here. At launch, this will never be an unmoderated public comment section.
